It's extremely hard to convince someone of what they don't want to believe. The best you can do is sigh and hope everything works out for the best. Or can you do more? I laugh at my own nonsense, people are going to believe whatever they want. How do we fix that is the ultimate question; do we grab the guns we shouldn't own in the first place? Or do we placate? I don't have the answers, however if you look me square in the face I'm going to tell you the truth. If you cant handle it then you shouldn't be in my face. Let it be known that I am a nice man until you test me. Not too long ago I had a 200 pound man on top of me with his forearm on my throat. He wore the results of that altercation for a week. So everybody knows, I am not to be tested. I graduated grad school with a 3.8 GPA, so I'm good at test.

The Electric Chronicle

It's starting again. The long nights. Fuck... You blast awake, your  BPM at a smooth 165 and rising, and sweat soaked sheets are indicative of another Hard Go. It's quite familiar now, an enveloping sensation that one would equate to their favorite winter blanket, only this shawl is weaved out of pure anxiety, sadness and re-enforced with a stern lattice of self loathing. Makes for comfy times and long nights, rest assured.
I'm still trying to figure out ....why, I suppose. It's' a paradoxical situation that we have unfortunately been yoked with, yet seem improperly equipped to task I speak of mere Existence, of course. Ya know, breathing oxygen and whatnot. It just seems so much more than that, but... is it? Ya sure?
I've been a pocket Hedonist my entire life, let's not get things confused. I'm a pleasure seeker  by nature, and not at all alone in this lifestyle. Hell, on certain days, I'll claim Anarchy with a dash of Socialism, and a pinch of Hippie when I smoke (noice),  yet I struggle with the concept of  what a "good" person is. Relativity is a motherfucker.
Wanna  you why I don't sleep?. I care. Yeah, about that thing you just thought about as well, pro or con. I want to have discourse with my fellow Americans about whatever issues they deem pertinent, because this is how we evolve as a culture. We must disagree, but never disavow. That's where the power truly lies. We must sharpen each other as Iron sharpens Iron, or we very well may face a future of a Blunt society. I triple hand clap the 20's generation for how things worked out this election. We offered them a Bernie Messiah, they chose their fate instead. My hands are clean. Holler at me.

I can't make it stop. My brain could back pedal and still smoke Usain Bolt. My brain races like Dale Earnhardt Jr. with no brakes. How does one slow one's brain down; or should it? Sometimes the demons bum rush my brain which eventually transcend through my arms to my knuckles. Typically it doesn't turn out well for anyone in my vicinity, or for me for that matter.

BUT... sometimes when the track meet starts the lanes are filled with social issues. It's a fun race to watch, I always have my money on the same horse. He has yet to win, but he'll get there eventually. Or maybe I have just reached the depths of the shoe box you have hidden at the bottom of your closet? Anyone one seen my mask lately?
